What We Do
We connect students and educators to local manufacturing companies and the many careers and pathways that manufacturing has to offer. We arrange open houses for area middle and high school students and parents to see advanced manufacturing in action. Also sponsored buses of students to attend trade shows such as IMTS and FABTECH. We worked with Harper Community College to redevelop an advanced manufacturing program that now has approximately 350 enrolled, with potential for more than 1,000 students.
With workforce boards, collaborated on an innovative manufacturing internship program that has won national and state recognition Worked with local secondary schools and community colleges to support dual credit/advanced placement courses to get students on a STEM manufacturing career path and much more.
