Quality Inspector - Custom Aluminum Products, Inc.

Job Description

The Quality Inspector monitors product quality across all plant processes from production through shipping, ensuring conformance to specifications and proper documentation. This role requires thorough inspection skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of quality control procedures to maintain product integrity throughout the manufacturing process.

Reports to: Quality Supervisor

Job Duties

• Verify parts meet specifications and are properly identified across departments
• Inspect non-conforming parts, issue reject tags, and document issues
• Perform incoming inspections and verify returned material counts
• Ensure correct material handling, stacking, and racking
• Follow control plan requirements
• Support gage calibration and quality reporting across production

Experience Required

Important Skills:

Skilled in reading technical drawings

Experience with measurement tools

Detail-oriented

Knowledgeable in manufacturing processes

Effective in documentation
