Draftsperson - Custom Aluminum Products, Inc.

Job Description

As a draftsperson, you will complete 2-D and 3-D drawings using AutoCAD and Inventor programs for Custom Aluminum Products, including creating, editing, and changing drawings before releasing then into the CADS system. This position requires technical drafting skills and attention to detial while working with various print types and measurement tools.

Reports to: Sales Engineering Manager

Job Duties

• Create and edit various technical drawings including die, fabrication, quote, and assembly prints
• Update and maintain drawings in the CADS system and manage CAD naming program
• Process Engineering Change Notices (ECN) and maintain die packet organization
• Use precision measurement tools for quality verification
• Participate in safety protocols and environmental management systems

Experience Required

Important Skills:

Proficient in AutoCAD and Inventor software

Skilled in technical drawing creation

Experience with precision measurement tools

Strong attention to detail

Knowledge of engineering processes

Highly organized
